While I have never experienced any issues wearing Logitech headsets before, the G733 Lightspeed seems to be so different that even its ear cups are unusually designed.
Some gaming skills and a distinctive personality are probably a good start, but just in case the real secret is colorful gear, then a new set of hardware from Logitech will help. The G-Series Color Collection includes a new wireless stereo headset with interchangeable elastic bands and microphone covers, plus a keyboard and two mouse options — wired or wireless. The now-discontinued Logitech G433 has been my daily driver for the better part of two years, and the Logitech G Pro X has proven time and again that Logitech G can compete with the best — I would even go so far as to say it stands up to what similarly priced audiophile headphones have to offer. It is not all sunshine and rainbows, however. Every so often, Logitech releases a product that just does not cut it. The Logitech G733 is one such headset. In terms of Logitech G headsets like the G332 , G432 , and G935 , they often have much louder bark than bite. With that said, it is easy to understand where all of these headsets fit into the roster.
The Logitech G733 Lightspeed, however, is an anomaly — it has no clear-cut rank, and does not replace any of the current offerings. Where the headset is not comfortable in the slightest is in the depth of its earcups.
The earcups are made from a breathable memory foam that creates a reasonably tight seal around the ear. Overall, the headset is extremely comfortable to wear, even for hours on end.
On the left earcup you get the power button, a volume dial, a mute button though the function of this button can be altered in the Logitech software and a jack for the accompanying — and removable — boom mic. The microphone itself is slightly bendy, which means you can shape it to suit your preferences, but the flexibility is limited. The Logitech G Hub software is where customisability over the audio comes into its own.
You can also adjust bass levels up and down — personally for the best gaming experience I recommend dialling this up to full. You do get the option of changing between set modes for entertainment, gaming and sports — but in all honesty it was hard to find discernable differences in the audio here. However, the quality output is still detailed and rich enough to keep you immersed.
However, the adjustable suspension strap headband cannot be adjusted continuously — you only get two notches — leaving users with no option for a custom fit. Its ear cups, too, although lined with dual-layer memory foam that contours around your face, do not rotate. These wireless headsets feature a range of controls as well as powerful Pro-G drivers. After all, clear and crisp audio can help you as a gamer better react to sound cues in a game. Now the G733 and Pro X deliver a pretty well-balanced sound profile.
The hybrid mesh construction of the Pro G drivers on both headsets helps reduce distortion for a richer and more cinematic sound quality. Between the two, however, the Pro X seems more adaptable. Its 50mm driver really takes it up a notch by lending that extra punch to the bass, making it also great for listening across a wide range of music genres. With the G733, the bass feels a little underwhelming at times. Microphone Quality While these headsets support voice enhancements, the Logitech Pro X still delivers a more studio-like quality compared to the G733.

В утилите G Hub доступно много настроек эквалайзера, окружающего звучания и дополнительных эффектов, но из всего доступного мне понравился только пресет с усилением басов, который я немного «выровнял» вручную. Как и большинство беспроводных игровых гарнитур, G733 не подходит для аудиофилов. В ней комфортно смотреть кино, играть и слушать лоу-фай чилл-хоп на фоне во время работы, но ожидать от звучания чего-то большего, пожалуй, всё же не стоит. Для игр и кино заявлена поддержка объёмного звука DTS X для наушников.
Правда, плагин DTS Sound Unbound для Windows 10 автоматически не разблокировал лицензию на необходимые кодеки — за них придётся заплатить 19 долларов. К Logitech G Pro X всё необходимое прилагалось бесплатно, так что часть разницы в цене можно смело списывать на это.
