While the head strap ensures a comfortable rest and the earpads are nice and soft, the ear cups seem to be extremely shallow. My ears touch the inside of the cup! Ordinarily, this is not an issue with on-ear headsets or noise-cancelling headphones, but the ear cups in the Logitech G733 Lightspeed feature a texture on the inside that is, simply put, uncomfortable. Wearing the headset for the usual one or two-hour gaming session is dandy, going any longer, however, results in an extremely uncomfortable feeling on the top part of my ears. As with other Logitech headsets, the G733 Lightspeed controls can be found on the left ear cup. Controls include a mute button, a volume wheel, and a power button. The reason I explicitly mention that it is a USB-C charging port is simple: the headset is purely wireless and only uses the cable to charge. Правда, написанное выше относится к стандартному звуку, без использования объемного звучания. На мой взгляд, это просто рекламный ход, который совершенно не красит эту модель. С активным объемным звуком в играх сначала вроде бы становится четче: обстановка приближается к реальной, слышимость лучше, а все остальное громче. Но при первом же взрыве, перестрелке, активации музыкального сопровождения и других сопроводительных звуках, низа заглушают все остальные частоты, середины рассыпается, а верха почти полностью растворяются во всей это какофонии. Поэтому сила, и одно из самых главны достоинств для геймеров, Logitech G733 в нормальном звуке без программных наворочек. При включении музыки впечатления, конечно, хуже, ведь это не наушники для меломанов, но если не сильно вслушиваться, или просто не шарить, то без проблем можно слушать почти все стили. Если же проанализировать, то в музыке общее звучание Logitech G733 рассыпается: не хватает плотных басов, низа гудят, середина теряет атаку, а верхов слишком много.
Да общей громкости почему-то маловато и как это произошло в модели с 40-миллиметровыми излучателями, непонятно. Микрофон Logitech G733 самая слабая его часть. Он делает голос неестественным и глухим, но ситуацию более или менее исправляет фирменное приложение G Hub, где в настройках можно активировать функцию Blue Voice. Она то и делает голос адекватным и достаточно сносным для общения с тиммейтами или с коллегами по работе. Тут есть базовые пресеты, но можно настроить все под себя и сохранить профиль. Главное знать, что делаешь. Но при желании есть возможность углубиться в настройки и скачать фирменное ПО. Оно сразу показывает уровень заряда и другую периферию Logitech, если она тоже подключена, а еще улучшает качество передачи голоса микрофона и делает другие вещи.
На каждой новой странице доступны настройки звука, микрофона и подсветки. Галочками активируются упомянутые выше объемное звучание и функция Blue Voice, а еще можно более детально настроить свечение: замедлить или ускорить его, сделать ярче или темнее или синхронизировать его с другими устройствами. В моем случае с мышкой.
В утилите G Hub доступно много настроек эквалайзера, окружающего звучания и дополнительных эффектов, но из всего доступного мне понравился только пресет с усилением басов, который я немного «выровнял» вручную. Как и большинство беспроводных игровых гарнитур, G733 не подходит для аудиофилов. В ней комфортно смотреть кино, играть и слушать лоу-фай чилл-хоп на фоне во время работы, но ожидать от звучания чего-то большего, пожалуй, всё же не стоит. Для игр и кино заявлена поддержка объёмного звука DTS X для наушников. Правда, плагин DTS Sound Unbound для Windows 10 автоматически не разблокировал лицензию на необходимые кодеки — за них придётся заплатить 19 долларов.
К Logitech G Pro X всё необходимое прилагалось бесплатно, так что часть разницы в цене можно смело списывать на это. Благодаря подключению по фирменному протоколу Lightspeed, задержка звука минимальная — по этому параметру G733 ничем не отличаются от G Pro X. Производителем предусмотрен только один вариант подключения — через беспроводной USB-адаптер. Разъём Type-C нужен только для зарядки, аудиосигнал через него не проходит. Качество микрофона — выше среднего Микрофон у Logitech G733 съёмный, но достаточно короткий и не очень гибкий — у меня не было проблем с захватом голоса, но эту особенность всё равно стоит учитывать. Паралоновый поп-фильтр в комплект не входит, поэтому «шипящие» звуки могут выделяться сильнее, чем на некоторых других гарнитурах.
