When the sisters were riding in the woods, Telmarines followed, so Susan decided to let Lucy go on alone while she stays and fight the soldiers. Later on, Lucy was in pursuit of a soldier when she saw a lion figure approaching and made the soldier run away. Aslan woke up the Dancing Trees from their 1,300-year slumber.
Eventually, they reached the bridge of Beruna, which Aslan destroyed, with the help of the River God.
