Британское управление продуктовыми стандартами FSA нашло простой выход: если придерживаться здорового питания, вообще не добавлять соль в еду, а продукты выбирать с содержанием соли менее 1, 25 г натрия соответственно в них должна быть меньше 0,5 г — проблема будет решена. И вообще современный человек, употребляющий в пищу мясные, молочные, рыбные, соленые и копченые продукты, вполне может обходиться без того, чтобы досаливать еду. Оказывается, у представителей этих народов гипертония встречается даже реже, чем у тех, кто ограничивает употребление соленой пищи. Вывод: соль опасна только для тех, кто генетически предрасположен к гипертонии. Более того — калифорнийские ученые уверены: "передозировка" человечеству не угрожает. Организм сам все отрегулирует.
