Пела бы она, конечно, и без него, однако именно Крету превратил экс-солистку «Арабесок» в музыкальную сенсацию. Они познакомились еще до распада группы, в 1982 году. Крету был опытным клавишником и делал аранжировки для группы «Boney M» «Бони Эм» , а Сандра в это же время принимала участие в записи нового альбома «Арабесок». Отношения между влюбленными развивались стремительно, и уже после первой встречи Сандра и Михаэль почти не разлучались. При этом музыкант все чаще говорил о том, что Сандре следует подумать о сольной карьере, которая принесет ей куда большую славу и, соответственно, состояние. В 1984 году девушка решила последовать совету возлюбленного и покинула группу. В 1985 году вышел сингл Сандры «Maria Magdalena» «Мария Магдалина» , написанный Михаэлем, потом еще один - «Everlasting Love» «Вечная любовь» , и наконец о ней заговорил весь мир. В какой-то момент Сандра, которую стали звать европейской Мадонной, даже обскакала знаменитую американку по совокупным продажам пластинок. Талантливого студента уже называют будущей звездой балета, он уже является лауреатом нескольких российских фестивалей артистов балета, обладателем именной стипендии российского фонда Галины Улановой, а в марте этого года также стал лауреатом конкурса «Русский Балет», отметили в министерстве культуры Бурятии. Мы гордимся нашими талантами и всегда готовы поддержать. Благодарим Аюша за трудолюбие, терпение и силу волю, за успешное прохождение учёбы!
Единственным ее объяснением по поводу очередной неудачи в личной жизни стало признание, что Менгес оказался не тем человеком, за которого себя выдавал. В 2017 году у Сандры диагностировали онкологическое заболевание груди, и ей пришлось вступить в тяжелую борьбу за собственную жизнь. Певица победила заболевание, но призналась, что ей пришлось пройти семь кругов ада. Сандра даже вернулась на сцену — она и сейчас выпускает альбомы, ездит на гастроли и появляется на телевидении. Конечно, нынешняя известность лишь тень былой славы, но звезду это скорее радует. Сегодня я могу ходить по магазинам, и меня мало кто узнает.

Однако поистине «золотым» составом, который принес группе настоящую известность, кроме Сандры Лауэр, называют также Микаэлу Роуз и Ясмин Феттер. Самой стойкой солисткой «Arabesque» оказалась Микаэла Роуз, которая была участницей группы со дня основания. После того как Сандра пустилась в одиночное плавание, Микаэла и Ясмин Феттер несколько лет выступали в новом коллективе «Rouge» «Руж» , но потом распался и он. В 2006 году Роуз предложили возродить «Арабески», она согласилась и теперь дает концерты вместе с двумя новыми вокалистками. Микаэле 65 лет.
Она несколько раз была замужем, но детей у нее нет. А вот с ее собственным рождением вышла интересная история. Оказалось, что отец певицы — выходец из Узбекистана, которого Микаэла никогда не видела.
Появилось столько новых возможностей: различные шоу талантов, стриминг, музыку можно запросто слушать и скачивать в Интернете. Но молодёжь теперь совсем другая. Люди уже не такие радостные и беззаботные, как в наше время. Многие молодые люди депрессивные какие-то. У них всё есть, родители всё им дают, но они всё равно не довольны жизнью и несчастны. Может быть, причина в том, что молодёжь стала слишком избалованна? Они получают всё, чего хотят.
Я как раз хотела спросить, как вы относитесь к бесплатному скачиванию музыки и пиратству. Arabesque: Мы только за, мы хотим, чтобы музыка была доступна всем слушателям, независимо от их материального положения. Это очень здорово, что теперь каждый, кто хочет, может слушать и скачивать песни, нет такого, чтобы люди не могли позволить себе купить диск какого-нибудь исполнителя. Arabesque: О, было очень много хороших и приятных моментов. Мы вообще очень весело проводили время в эпоху диско-музыки. Так сразу один какой-то конкретный момент и не вспомнишь. Много всего хорошего было. Arabesque: На нас повлияла музыка диско в целом. В то время существовало немало талантливых певцов и групп, которые исполняли музыку в этом стиле. Она звучала буквально отовсюду.
