When you walked around the apartment like this, you were often absent minded. Almost in auto-pilot, feet tiptoeing in an uneven patter across floorboards and rugs, tiles and carpets. Your mind was clearly somewhere else. Oh how you wished you actually were.
He did his best to keep subtle and still when he leant against the wall in the hallway leading into the living room. True, it was hard for him to be seen as a shadow, be that with his larger frame, but he was also stealthy. You felt foggy, drifting even. Picked off of the ground and hovering over an empty endless pit. Quiet yet loud.
Everything was quiet yet so loud. Like a honey covered melatonin pill had been slipped under your tongue. Your pacing had now stilled, feet planted as your body turned to face the hallway. There he was. Shirtless thanks to the heat of summer nights, hair still lightly frizzy and fluffed from how he pressed his cheek into his pillow when in deep sleep.
The most notable thing was the worry in his eyes. That familiar softness in his brows, in the way they creased as he stared at you. Looked through you, even. What else could you really say in a moment like this? Then you could just fake it.
Pretend to be asleep on the couch, say you drifted off while watching television or some other dumb excuse you knew he would eventually stop buying.

Ухватившись за край платформы, Леон попытался подняться на верх, но его хватает подошедший Тиран и кидает Леона в другую сторону. При падении Леон выронил свой VP-70. Тиран уже готовиться добить его и хватает за шкирку, как Ада кидает в монстра гранату. Тиран отпускает Леона и начинает тушить себя, после чего падает на колено.

When he meets you again that fateful day: tied up to a Marine post in a dusty courtyard, tired, frustrated, solemn, for the first time in his life he begins to feel his judgement sway. When your face popped around the yard gates on your way out from meeting Axehand Morgan, your feet skid so comically across the ground the cloud of smoke it raised was so huge it even made Zoro sneeze. With a hand on your hip, and eyes widened in disbelief, you stepped out into the sunlight to survey the man bowed before you.
He sneered, tipping his head in the other direction and staring at the ground as you tug on the rather tight knots around his wrist. With reflexes so quick they could only be rivalled by your own sparring buddy himself, a firm hand slaps against his sternum. Placing a hand on his knee he braces himself, and steps up. But then he surprises you.
The corners of his lips twitch in what - no way- could only be the beginnings of a smile?! No buts. No excuses. I mean, bless his heart, Zoro is still a dumbass though, as perceptive as he is.
It takes a little bit of work to climb through the trellises of his grave heart. But little by little, he begins to open up to you again. At first, as he burrows his back into the planks and crosses his arms in front of his chest, the steady breathing of his stoic body makes your job seem even harder.

Set to the usual 6AM for him to rise out of bed. Leon kept his steps even as he walked towards the doorway in an almost stalk-like matter. He was creeping in hopes of not alarming you. When you walked around the apartment like this, you were often absent minded.

А что? Тайно, но при этом... Это они виноваты в том, что случилось с городом, — Валентайн всё больше мрачнела: стоило только заговорить об Umbrella, аж руки затряслись от досады и злости. Не верю, что уродов в канализациях, например, никто не замечал. Не смотри на меня так.

As though you can feel him staring, which you most probably do, you look over at him and meet his eyes. He never wants you to stop looking at him like that.
