Manipulative Bitch : She manipulates people who try to get in the way of her pursuit of her senpai, and has also been purposefully pushing Ayano towards a violent path her whole life. He and Kocho lampshade her manipulative tendencies in a couple tapes. Canonically, her act manages to fool the media and well-nigh the entirety of Japan. Missing Mom : She and her husband are out of town for the 10 weeks that Ayano is running amok. Why is that? This was done to trick the court into thinking she was innocent so she could get away scot-free. Pet the Dog : Not that it was done out of any kindness , but given how she dealt with her previous rivals, pairing Chigusa with one of her male admirers is much more merciful. Given the two got married later in life , it even worked out outside of just keeping Chigusa from Jokichi. Predecessor Villain : She attended the same school her daughter does, and killed at least one person during her time there canonically six. Promoted to Playable : For 1980s mode. Still lovesick, still giggly, still enthusiastic, still an immature psychotic murderer. Ryoba: [sound of knife] Say. In Basement Tape 1, she is revealed to have kidnapped her senpai and held him against his will until Stockholm Syndrome kicked in. Between that and Basement Tape 10 which takes place mere days before the main campaign of the game , they got married and had a daughter, which obviously means that they had sex. Considering how terrified Jokichi is in those two tapes, it is highly unlikely that he consented to any advances willingly. YandereDev has confirmed that this will be further explored.

The Journalist stalked her and found out that she was constantly running around with a mop and a bucket as if she always had to clean something up. Not only that, but any girl that spoke to the stalked upperclassman got into deep trouble that separated them from the boy. So, after much convincing, the Journalist was able to get the yandere taken into custody. Despite the evidence the Journalist found, the yandere girl managed to slip away with some very persuasive acting. Because of this, the Journalist became notorious for being a "pervert" and a "glory-hound". However, the Journalist slipped up and now he has to flee the country. Unfortunately, he just happened to pick the wrong target... Inspector Lestrade : Taken to its logical conclusion ; he had all the evidence at the ready to prove Ryoba was behind the Akademi murders, but had his reputation completely tarnished by her cleverly-manipulative actions at the time of judgment. Maternal Death? Blame the Child! Mistaken for Pedophile : Played for drama. One of the reasons why Ryoba was acquitted was because she claimed that he was a lecherous pervert. Ironically, Ryoba herself is a Stalker with a Crush , though for someone slightly older than her. My Greatest Failure : He considers interacting with Ryoba in the first place to be "the worst mistake of [his] life" since she ruined his life. No Good Deed Goes Unpunished : He found out who the murderer was and accused her, but without proof, he was laughed out of court and lost his job. His daughter basically had to raise herself after he fell into depression. Of course he is right in all of this, even if no one else believes him. She is. Spanner in the Works : He is one for Ryoba. Specifically, her love confession to her Senpai. Her elimination serves as the 1980s mode tutorial. Alliterative Name : Her proper name is Sumire Saitozaki. Camping a Crapper : Ryoba lures her into the bathroom to talk about her crush, and murders her there. Nice Girl : The official website states that she was a good person who never wished harm upon anyone. Sacrificial Lamb : She is killed to show how ruthless Ryoba is. Kaguya Wakaizumi A girly, bubbly and cheerful girl who spends most of her time in the school plaza chatting with people. Girly Girl : Has the personality, looks, and tastes typically associated to one. Sixth Ranger : More like fifth ranger. The official website states that Kaguya recently became the latest addition to the Rainbow Girls group. In canon, she becomes a rather literal example since she gets burned to death. Meaningful Name : The "Moe" in Moeko can be read as "burning". It fits both her fiery personality and her canonical fate. One of the Boys : She can be seen hanging out with the Rainbow boys, and is said to be more comfortable around boys than girls. Pay Evil unto Evil : Admits to Ryoba she wants to burn the creep that took pictures of her to death. Pyromaniac : Her secret hobby is setting fires in a barrel on school grounds. Naturally, exploiting this is one way Ryoba can eliminate her. Additionally, her Dark Secret is that due to her hobby, she accidentally burned down an entire building at her old school. Tomboy : Ryoba describes her as "a cute tomboy with a gung-ho attitude". Indeed, she reacts positively to masculine topics like Sports, Martial Arts and Violence, while negatively to the feminine Cooking and Gardening topics.
