The fair will feature more than 120 presentations across four sections: Contemporary, Bawwaba, Modern, and Digital. Notably, works in Bawwaba are created in the past year or specially conceived for the fair. The Modern sector is curated by Dr Christianna Bonin and focuses on artists who studied in Soviet metropoles through Cold War exchanges. Art Dubai Digital explores the intersection of new media art and technology, and is curated by Auronda Scalera and Alfredo Cramerotti. The commissions explore the creation of spaces for contemplation as well as socially-engaged practices, with participating artists such as Mirna Bamieh, Hashel Al Lamki, and Mithu Sen, among others.
It allows visitors to witness contemporary and international art, along with workshops and discussions led by experts and artists. This edition of the exhibition involves the participation of over 100 galleries across its four sections: Contemporary, Modern, Bawwaba, and Art Dubai Digital. Furthermore, Dubai Opera will present a series of musical and theatrical performances throughout the coming year, highlighting regional and international talent in performing arts and music.

Art Dubai 2024: Global Art Forum and Commissions This year, Art Dubai has announced an expanded program of collaborations with local and international partners. Some of the highlights include new commissions and premieres by globally renowned artists as well as an extensive education, talks, and thought-leadership program. Swiss watchmaker and jewelry house Piaget will also inaugurate a new partnership with Art Dubai through a new exhibition.

Alabbar is the first Arab designer to etch a design into the dial of the Limelight Gala watch. The House took the opportunity to also reintroduce a limited edition of the Piaget Polo 79 model, a truly iconic timepiece, fully sculpted from the most precious of metals to form a rare piece of artistry, both a fine bracelet and a watch: the Piaget Polo 79. The Maison partners with artists who align with that same sense of relationship with the natural world to help to relay this discourse. At the other end of the Lounge, numerous posters by British artist Marcus Coates presented one month of the nature calendar he created for Ruinart. The artist was enlisted to create a piece that speaks to the ethos of Clinique La Prairie. With a keen eye for architecture, Belhamar has meticulously captured Dubai—the desert that has blossomed into a metropolis—in experimental prints, videos, and three-dimensional models and installations. The artist created an experiential installation — with the BMW i7 at its center — using motion-driven projections to juxtapose the urban streetscape with the serene, monumental presence of nature.
