He has an excellent array of shots, with good power and accuracy on his wrist shot, snap shot and slap shot. A sniper, Comtois has a very quick release that can handcuff opposing goaltenders. He also has excellent vision and passing skills. Comtois can extend plays by using his stick handling and puck protection to control the play along the boards. Once teammates get open he can make a pass through the tightest of openings. Comtois has good size and is not afraid to work along the boards or in front of the net.
Comtois is also a very good skater, with great first step quickness and excellent acceleration. As a 16-year-old rookie, he took on heavy responsibility, playing in all situations. He also scored 60 points in 62 games this past season. Tippett is extremely dangerous off the rush. He has excellent speed and acceleration. His ability to change speeds allows him to take defenders wide and drive to the front of the net, where he has the soft hands to finish in tight. If defenders back off to respect his speed, he can use his excellent wrist shot or snap shot and beat goalies with a quick release. Tippett could stand to work on his play making skills.
He can stand to slow things down and hold on to the puck just a little longer before rushing a play. Tippett had 15 goals and 20 points for Mississauga last season. A strong performance, seven points in four games, would lead to him being invited to join the US NTDP late in the season. He scored a point per game. He had another impressive tournament, with nine points in seven games. He is committed to the University of Minnesota in 2017. Mittelstadt has excellent puck handling ability. He can beat defencemen one-on-one with a number of moves, and has the soft hands to stick handle in a phone both.
He combines this with excellent speed, and the ability to make cuts on a dime. Mittlestadt is an excellent play maker who creates passing lanes with his quick puck movement. He also has a good shot. He put up nine goals and 10 points in just five games for Finland. Tolvanen is a pure sniper who scores goals in a variety of different ways. He reads the play extremely well, and uses a quick first step and excellent accleration to allude defenders and get himself open to fire a shot on goal. Tolvanen has an outstanding one-timer, with great power and accuracy.
Miro would go on to finish fourth in Calder voting that season behind eventual Calder Memorial winner Elias Petterson, 2019 Stanley Cup winner Jordon Binnington, and 2018 first overall pick Rasmus Dahlin. In 150 career NHL games, Heiskanen as amassed 20 goals and 68 points in 150 regular season games played and will be a stalwart on the Dallas blue line for many years to come. Out of the top five players selected in this draft, Makar was the only one who played NCAA where he tallied 21 goals and 70 points in 75 games played for the University of Massachusetts. Makar also led his team in scoring as a defenseman in 2018-19 and would go on to win the Hobey Baker award, the first in the history for the school. Makar had a more than unique breakout with the Avs as he was called up to play for the team in the 2018-19 playoffs, where he adapted almost immediately, registering a goal and six points in 10 playoff games, cementing himself undoubtedly into the Avalanche roster for years to come. This season for Colorado, Makar was arguably the top candidate for the Calder Memorial Trophy, having racked up 12 goals and 50 points in just 57 games played.
Part 7 -- featuring the class of 2017, is below... Pettersson has proven to be a dominant NHL player on the strength of his vision and one of the most wicked shots in the league. Everything he does looks so easy and his game has no weaknesses. I think he should be good for 65-70 points per year at his peak. The Devils need to surround him with better talent. That entire organization is trending in the wrong direction in a major way. I could see a scenario in which he nearly doubles those total next season. They took Glass with that pick and ended up taking Suzuki with their second pick, 13th overall. Suzuki was traded to Montreal in the Max Pacioretty deal before ever playing for the team. He went on to post 41 points in 71 games in his rookie season with the Habs. They also acquired Tony DeAngelo in that deal.

Rather than trying to rush the puck every time, he identifies when he can burn the defender and when to make a play. He is also getting better at producing from a standstill and could play on the powerplay in the NHL.
He is an elite skater who is incredibly poised with the puck on his stick. The analytics rate him highly due to his efficiency at carrying the puck, but he will need to start using his standout puck skills to create offense to justify this ranking. This season he has thrived in an increased role. Marie Greyhounds, but he still projects as a top-six offensive talent in the NHL. He then exploded the next year and was one of the best players in the league and for Team Canada as they won gold at the World Juniors. His size and skill have turned him into a menace at the AHL level. His average footspeed is the only thing holding him back. His offense has slowed down a bit after turning pro in his draft-year-plus-one season but has been playing tough matchups and killing penalties. He moves around very well for a big man, allowing him to break up plays and then join the ensuing rush.
His average skating and one-dimensional game have been exposed and the high-end puck skills are yet to shine through. More time in the AHL could be helpful. He has a good, quick wrist shot and passes the puck well enough, but his lack of foot speed holds him back from being a truly dynamic player. Another player in this class who has struggled with injuries, he missed all of 2018-19 due to a concussion. He played just 40 games in the AHL last year and really blossomed near the end of the season with 11 points in his last 13 games. At six-foot-two, 185-pounds, he could add some weight but has managed without it due to his smooth skating stride and four-way quickness. He already looks like a powerplay anchor-type, but we could very well not have seen the best of Timmins due to the injury problems. He had a decent rookie season in the NHL, scoring 20 points in 56 games, but struggled to keep up with the increased pace of the league.

После возвращения в Россию Печурский зацепил Кубок Гагарина с «Металлургом», отыграл три сезона в «Амуре», вытащил в плей-офф «Ценг Тоу», не справился с этой задачей в усть-каменогорском «Торпедо», а сейчас, как выразился сам вратарь, отвратительно начал чемпионат в Новокузнецке. Как говорил Александр несколько лет назад, его подводит лишний вес, нужно постоянно его сбрасывать, чтобы становится быстрее и резче. Ничего, если у «Питтсбурга» произойдёт форс-мажор, то они знают, к кому обратиться. Вы наверняка помните его. Третий период. Игрок новокузнецкого «Металлурга» Максим Кицын забрасывает вторую шайбу в ворота канадцев и сокращает разрыв до минимума.
