Купферы как родные бы стояли в одном ряду с Верукой Солт, Августом Глупом и Чарли Бакетом у входа на шоколадную фабрику Вонки, и для них экскурсия тоже не кончилась бы ничем хорошим, потому что Даль был моралист с лёгким садистским кинком. Впрочем, никакое превращение в чернику не сравнится с той судьбой, которую приготовил для них Конал Кокран. Он всё объяснит, не волнуйтесь, он злодей старой школы, из тех, что любят монологи. Всё сошлось, но ничего не сходится, от окружённого пультами и экранами камня до противной песенки, от слуг Кокрана до его богов — зачем всё это, почему сейчас, что там за светила сошлись и какой новый мир вы хотите призвать? Низачем, нипочему, да какие угодно и чёрт его знает какой — это всё шутка, отличная шутка, и вдобавок над детьми, ей не нужно иметь смысл, как не нужно его иметь ночному кошмару. I could then start the program and leave the computer to do its work, finishing hours later. The color was achieved by placing filters in front of the animation camera. Each scene was exposed three times: once for the blue cells, once for the red, alien cells, and a third time, for white text overlays.
