New Features Autodesk Revit 2024
This tool now works with concave site shapes. Again, the new toposolid tool is similar to floors. You can modify the structure with materials of various thicknesses. That means you can create fun site elements such as lakes without using floors. When selecting a toposurface, use Generate Toposolid to convert to the new tool. To be safe, you can keep it in the archives. There are a few quirks here. When generating a toposolid, building pads are ignored completely.
Also, subregions will be converted into subdivisions. In Revit 2024: Subregions has been replaced by Sub-Divide. The base idea is the same: draw boundaries over the toposolid. Similarly to sub-regions, you can extend the boundaries beyond the limit of the toposolid without receiving a warning. Sub-Divisions are placed on top of the toposolid. You can then pick a material and set a thickness in the instance properties. Sub-Division have a thickness instance parameter.
There is another parameter called Inherit Contours. It allows you to decide if you want to see the contours on the subdivision or not. In Revit 2024: Building pads are gone. Instead, Autodesk recommends using the Massing tool to create void geometry. These tools are more complex and potentially more confusing than building pads, but they allow you to create more complex shapes.

Есть три варианта на выбор: Нет — то есть работать, как и раньше, подбирать высоту по высоте и длине текста в ячейке; Все — задать всем строкам минимальную высоту, но если какой-то текст не влез по длине и переносится, то высота строки тоже увеличивается, а изображения масштабируются при изменении ширины столбца; Строки изображения — если в спецификации несколько строк, и в каких-то есть изображения, то строки с изображениями будут не выше указанного значения, остальные — адаптируются по размеру и длине текста. Это БИМ, сударыня. Работа с координационными моделями Так называют в справке модели Нэвисворкса, подгруженные в Ревит. Теперь можно включить точки привязки к элементам этих моделей и ловить их на плоских видах и на 3Д. Кроме того, при выделении элемента в такой модели, можно увидеть свойства элемента, но только для той, что подгружена из облака. Динамо 2. Подробно останавливаться не буду, не работал с Динамо в 2023 Ревите, сравнить будет сложно. Визуально вроде не особо поменялось. Взаимодействие с видами и листами Теперь можно выделить в диспетчере несколько видов и спецификаций и сразу все перетащить на лист. Ревит их сам раскидает, потом нужно будет руками поправить и готово. Если вид размещён на листе, то можно нажать по нему правой кнопкой мыши в диспетчере и выбрать команду «Открыть лист» — Ревит откроет лист с этим видом. Альбомы цветов Раньше в Ревите были только палитры Пантон, а теперь их расширили и — самое приятное — добавили отдельную палитру, ну или альбом, для цветов по RAL. Менять цвета и особенно создавать материалы будет проще. Не очень удобно сделали, я бы предпочёл, чтобы цвет не сразу применялся, а сначала выделялся в списке. Сортировка параметров проекта Раньше параметры проекта сортировались по времени их добавления в проект. По факту это сортировка не по времени, а по ID параметров.
Сделали «новое стартовое окно» в общем ерунда ничего принципиально не меняется. Коллекции листов А вот это супер тема! Это решает проблему с несколькими разделами в одном проекте и невозможностью давать одинаковые номера листов. Очень полезно — давно нужно было сделать не думаю что было сложно реализовать 3. Массив То же очень полезное изменение в поведении массива, теперь при создании массива можно указать и 1 элемент и 0 элементов. Массив при этом не ломается и не выдаёт ошибок, лишние элементы просто скрываются. В проектах не самая нужная вещь, а вот при создании семейств избавляет от некоторых костылей. Даже не знаю, вроде полезно, но совсем мелочь. Размышлял над этой тёмной темой и почему о ней говорят как о большом улучшении, на мой взгляд она может быть удобна когда в темноте работаешь, чтоб глаза не уставали. Я так не работаю уже давно, только при хорошем освещении. Но всё таки это косметическое улучшение, на то как работает программа не влияет. Архитектурные изменения: 7. Так что новинка как мёртвому припарка, всё равно нужно отдельно моделировать такие решения как и раньше. Допили немного так сказать Добавили возможность сделать выему под смоделированным элементом перекрытием, фундаментой плитой и т. А сразу так нельзя было сделать?

Revit 2024 has several non-architectural product enhancements that are listed below. Best 9 New Features in Revit 2024
While using the new Toposolid, you can cut this solid with other elements, such as Walls, Floors, etc. As a result, the graphics inside the view will now show correctly. This method can be more complex and time-consuming, but allows you to create any shape you want. Hopefully, we will get a better tool in the future. You can find the Sun settings in the ribbon on the right side. The settings dialog still looks the same as the earlier Revit versions, a minor improvement has been made to the Time Interval feature, which now offers additional increments. Revit now offers intervals of 15, 30, 45, and 60 seconds, which allows you to analyze shadows with greater accuracy. In addition, you can drag the Sun along its path in Perspective mode instead of using the Orthographic mode. These models are lightweight and elements can be selected. You can read out the information from the selected element in the Properties Browser. One of the main benefits is the capability to link models from previous versions of Revit without upgrading them.
This feature is very useful when collaborating with other stakeholders who are working with older model versions. Once you have linked Coordination Models, you can manage these files in the Coordination Model tab located in the Manage Links menu.
You can create new types of Toposolid and change types using Type Selector. Unlike Toposurface, Toposolid has a thickness and you can set different contour display for every toposolid type. Toposolids can host floor-based families. Toposolids are new system families with compound layers and type parameters. Add multiple layers and set materials. You can create toposolids from sketch or CAD imports, just select layers that contain points. You can use Split tool from the Modify tab to split a toposlid into multiple toposolids.
You can use Graded Region tool on toposolids in Existing phase. Grading of surface points at toposolids works the same way as the shape editor at floors. Sub-Divide tool replaced Subregion tool. You can use Sub-Divide to apply different materials to a toposolid. Then you can set material and height thickness for each sub-division. Mass void replaced Building Pad tool. Create void mass and use the Cut tool to create hole in the Toposolid. This workflow is less comfortable than using Building Pad tool but it enables to create any shape for site excavations or tunnels. Cutting enabled for topography.
You can cut a toposolid with other toposolids or with elements in other categories, including walls, floors, structural foundations, etc. In previous versions of Revit, you probably used railings to create curbs. In this version you can use Floor Slab Edge, but take into account that it can only be placed on the edge of the toposolid, the edge of subdivision is not supported. Modernized and improved user interface Dark theme. Revit provides dark theme which allows you to set AutoCAD-style interface. The color of the main window can be set separately using Canvas Theme tool located in the View tab. My Insight panel.
The biggest challenge is that the workflow is not as intuitive for the average Revit user, in my opinion. Figure 27. The suggested replacement for the building pad tool is an in-place mass void. Sub-regions are automatically converted to sub-divisions. Figure 28 shows the various type settings for this new element. Notice two things. First, the toposolid is fundamentally based on the floor element. Second, the contour settings are now set per object type rather than globally. Figure 28. Toposolid properties. Knowing that the element is essentially an enhanced floor element, note that apply materials is a little odd. Then I had to paint a grass material on the surface. The tricky part with painting is that the surface is made up of several facets and required several picks to paint the entire surface. Toposolid — Creation Workflow A toposolid is created similar to a floor element. You start by sketching the perimeter of the ground to be defined and then finish the creation mode. Next, you select the toposurface and use the Add Points option on the ribbon, adjusting the offset value also on the ribbon. Roads and walkways are created using the Sub-Divide tool found on the ribbon when a toposolid is selected. This is similar to the sub-region tool where an enclosed area is defined within the larger toposolid perimeter. The result is a solid extrusion which conforms to the ground and can be adjusted vertically. However, the sub-divide height cannot be negative. The last image in this section shows how a mass void can create a tunnel in the toposolid. This was not possible with a toposurface. When a CAD file is available, a toposolid can be generated from it as in the past. Figure 29. Creating a toposolid. Figure 30. Creating a sub-division. Figure 31. Shared Coordinates While there is nothing new with shared coordinates, I wanted to share a link to my YouTube series on the topic Shared Coordinates in Revit that is easy to understand and covers many of the questions that often come up. This workflow will be the same in Revit 2024, even when using the new toposolid element. This workflow also works on a project hosted in BIM 360. Figure 32. The shared coordinates workflow. Cut Geometry Enhancement With the advent of the toposolid, there have been enhancements to what kind of elements can be used to cut other elements. Because the toposolid is a solid, Revit does not know that other elements should automatically cut it. If you have foundation walls going below grade, for example, you now have to use the Cut tool and select the wall and the toposolid to get the correct graphic results in a section. Pattern Alignment The Align tool now has an option to apply the alignment to the entire surface. In the example below, the surface has sub-elements applied to slope portions of the surface. This can result in the surface pattern not aligned across the entire floor element. This new feature helps with the new alignment, whereas earlier, it only allowed for the selected face option.
