В сентябре 2023 года издательство АСТ выпустило книгу «Секрет небес. Яблоко Раздора». Это новеллизация одноименной истории «Клуба романтики» — одной из самых популярных в приложении.
Первая — невероятно унылое чтиво, по ощущениям похожее на визит в тематический парк, посвящённый заезженным штампам из романтических фильмов. Простушка приехала в Голливуд, героиня-хореограф встречает группу горячих танцоров, студентка неожиданно попадает в королевскую семью… Надежды на хорошую историю тают уже во время чтения аннотаций, а дальнейшее содержание новелл лишь усугубляет эффект: в них найдётся буквально всё, за что принято ругать бульварные романы. Невыносимые диалоги, топорно написанные персонажи, бесконечные пассажи типа «в его взгляде читается X с примесью Y».
Про качество сценария и говорить как-то неловко, даже учитывая мои не слишком высокие ожидания. О каком серьёзном нарративе может идти речь, если за основу сюжета взяты настолько избитые истории, а персонажи выглядят так, будто вышли из телевизионной рекламы майонеза? А вот задники неожиданно удались. Так и хочется увидеть их в каком-нибудь point-and-click приключении Зато вторая группа новелл — настоящее комедийное золото. В них сценаристы срываются с цепи здравого смысла и ударяются в такой бред, что абсурд происходящего на экране почти завораживает. Написано это всё так же отвратительно, как и раньше, зато авторы явно постарались разбавить рутину нетипичным для мелодрам сеттингом.
Космическая фантастика с вызывающе нелепой мужской версией Азари , истерически несуразная «Школа Ангелов и Демонов», абсолютно наглая калька со всех вампирских историй разом — чем более нелепой и претенциозной выглядит обложка новеллы, тем смешнее будет сюжет. События так быстро и бессвязно сменяют друг друга, что сливаются в сплошной поток чистой сценарной глупости, а сюжетные повороты и дыры словно пытаются переплюнуть друг друга. В общем, на выходе получается что-то достойное пера самого Томми Вайсо: читать такую литературу физически тяжело, но самых выносливых ждёт весьма специфическое вознаграждение. От игры под названием «Клуб Романтики» логично ждать особо тщательной проработки всего, что связано с любовными линиями, и в этом плане мои надежды сбылись. Романтика здесь вышла приторно слащавой. Внезапные душеизлияния, симпатия, взявшаяся из ниоткуда и пропавшая в никуда; иногда персонажи попросту забывают не только о пережитых наедине моментах, но даже о том, что они уже успели переспать.
Если вы получаете удовольствие от кринжа, то передозировка запредельно неловких комплиментов вам понравится. Как ни странно, постельных сцен в игре тоже предостаточно, но стремиться к ним я настоятельно не советую.

Я прошла первые пару глав до сцены поцелуя — и, честно говоря, в какой-то момент я даже забросила игру, настолько мне не понравилось поведение главной героини. На мой взгляд, она нагловатая, неблагодарная, при этом непонятно чем практически сходу заслужила любовь томно-загадоШного Виктора, как будто он за свои столетия жизни никого получше найти не мог... С появлением Макса игра для меня немного оживилась — а к последнему сезону даже стала всерьез нравиться, если бы не пара нюансов в финале...
Но в целом этот сюжет для меня «вывезли» именно эпизодические и второстепенные персонажи — а вот к главной героине я как-то совсем нежными чувствами и эмпатией не прониклась... Всеобщая любовь к этой истории мне понятна — учитывая, что она была лишь второй по счету, плюс то, что она объективно сильнее «Голливудской истории» и «Королевы», одновременно с которыми она выходила, во многом объясняют её популярность. Однако многие новые истории её, на мой взгляд, уже затмили. Достоинства: Возможность серьезно повлиять на сюжет, судьбу и даже выживание или гибель тех или иных персонажей Неплохо закрученная интрига Сезон «европейская Одиссея» и его колоритные локации Зачастую в КР женские персонажи второго плана прописаны слабо, но тут с этим проблем нет. Триша, Френсис, София, Саманта — колоритные, яркие, характерные и очень живые Интересные эпизодические истории: например, про скрипачку, подругу Моники, Патрика или главу музея в Австрии Философские высказывания главы клана Аши Шуточки Макса. Второй по остроумию персонаж КР — первый будет намного выше Недостатки Главная героиня — порой очень невоспитанная, неблагодарная и в целом очень странная дамочка. А окончательно роняет её в моих глазах её крайне пренебрежительное отношение к её питомцу По ходу истории часто в качестве платного выбора предлагается кого-то спасти — но в итоге спасенные персонажи не влияют ни на историю, ни на статы, даже не упоминается их дальнейшая судьба Есть откровенно и ни за что ни про что слитые персонажи вроде Данте Неравномерность любовных линий. Тем, кто выбрал любовную ветку с Саймоном, было откровенно обидно за то, как мало «экранного времени» уделено этому персонажу и его отношениям с героиней.
