Set against the vibrant backdrop of Dubai, this premier contemporary art fair is poised to captivate art enthusiasts from around the globe. From May 2nd to May 5th, 2024, the Dubai World Trade Centre will transform into a hub of creativity, showcasing over 4,000 artworks from more than 65 countries. These pavilions serve as cultural gateways, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore a kaleidoscope of artistic expressions from around the world. Renowned talents such as Daria Avdeeva, Javeria Khan, and Francine Kaspar will grace the exhibition with their vibrant creations, blending classical techniques with contemporary interpretations. Noteworthy mentions include Dubai-based abstract artist Hend Rashed, whose dynamic artworks have garnered international acclaim.
I have bought art in previous editions and look forward to seeing what the curation has to offer this year.

This edition of the exhibition involves the participation of over 100 galleries across its four sections: Contemporary, Modern, Bawwaba, and Art Dubai Digital. Furthermore, Dubai Opera will present a series of musical and theatrical performances throughout the coming year, highlighting regional and international talent in performing arts and music.
Throughout February and March, Al Quoz Creative Zone and Alserkal Avenue will host a series of cultural and creative events, including art exhibitions, discussions, and diverse experiences.

Dubai Art Season will continue with the sixteenth edition of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, starting on January 31 and running until February 6, 2024, at InterContinental Hotel Festival City. Art Dubai Since its inception in 2007, Art Dubai has distinguished itself as the pre-eminent platform for art from the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia, evolving into a pivotal event on the international arts calendar. It includes commissioned projects, residencies, and educational initiatives, alongside the much-anticipated Global Art Forum. The forum stands as the largest annual arts conference in the Middle East and Asia, offering a platform for thought-provoking discussions, performances, and live talks by regional and international artists, curators, and writers. In 2019, Art Dubai attracted over 30,000 visitors, including a significant number of UAE-based, regional, and international collectors, curators, and nearly 100 visiting museums and institutions.
This section will present 10 solo presentations featuring artworks created within the past year or conceived for the fair. Bawwaba will showcase artists from the Global South who think of art as a place of reckoning and healing, confronting social and political issues, engaging in critical dialogue, and creating a sense of community and belonging. Through a variety of mediums, these artists explore art as a catalyst for change, transformation, and healing, and the section will investigate how these processes change across regions.

В итоге из тысяч поступивших рисунков жюри было выбрано 30 работ-победителей, которые и были представлены на международной выставке «World Art Dubai 2023». В их число вошли три рисунка конкурса «Мы — дети Космоса»: Федорова Анастасия, 14 лет.

World Art Dubai is always one of my favourite Dubai events and I look forward to attending next year. Well done Dubai. Despite the challenges this year, it was impressive to see such a diverse collection of international artists present and be part of this event.
