And so I think all of the world is just full of these jobs where really affecting change on a physical system, doing something in the physical world, all of those things, we will need probably many, many more of them than we have right now. Particularly in medicine like nurses, surgeons, physical therapists, people who work in nursing homes. We have a rapidly aging population, and so the burdens on the healthcare system are going to get much higher. And so I think we got this weird thing in the United States where we apportion less dignity and respect to jobs, the ones that my dad had than we should.
And I lived in Germany for a little while. So all of those jobs I think are super important. And the reason that I say that is humans are just extraordinarily good at wanting to put humans at the center of their stories. Nobody wants to watch that. And you even go back before computers. Forklifts are stronger than people. You could go have a strong man or a strong person competition that was about which forklift could lift the most weight. Nobody cares about that.
We care about humans. What are we saying? What do we care about? What are we trying to express to everyone else? But what we know from every one of these disruptions is you have actually a surprising degree of need for human occupation. But I think a lot of it is because we actually like doing things. The way that you will interact with our software will be substantially different by the end of this calendar year than it was coming in. One of the things that Sam Altman and I have talked about a lot is I suspect that this year, the next trillion-dollar company gets founded.
And then the frontier will keep expanding out. Having a model that can take visual inputs and reason over them will also admit a whole bunch of new things that are going to be very exciting. I just think that the theme of this year is going to be progress and activity almost too much to track. And you all as investors and as people who are watching this closely must feel the same thing.
