На мой взгляд это скорее достоинство. Вкус его несколько облагорожен по сравнению с классическим Лафройгом и несколько напоминает например Caol Ila 12.
Несмотря на маленькую выдержку 6 лет этот виски несомненно относится к премиум-классу, и я бы расположил его немного выше чем Лафройг 10. Ну собственно он немного дороже и стоит. Дело в том, что последние 7-8 месяцев выдержки в маленьких бочках действительно радикально улучшают его вкус, делают его более нежным и бархатистым. Фенольность по-прежнему присутствует, она никуда не делась. Если вы выпьете этот виски вечером, то утром дымно-торфяной привкус ещё будет во рту, хотя наверное не так сильно как после такого же количества Лафройг 10.

Если вы выпьете этот виски вечером, то утром дымно-торфяной привкус ещё будет во рту, хотя наверное не так сильно как после такого же количества Лафройг 10. Также улучшению вкуса способствует отсутствие холодной фильтрации и крепость, приближенная к бочковой. Отрицательные же отзывы происходят оттого, что изначально к этому виски предъявлялись неверные требования или имелись о нём ложные представления. Скорее всего люди сперва пили Лафройг 10, а потом купили Лафройг QC, представляя его себе наверное таким же как "десятка". Но это несколько иной виски. В общем на вкус и цвет товарищей нет. Но например я сперва попробовал QC, и он мне очень понравился.
Всё просто, ровно и понятно.
Вкус Nestville Single Malt Ровный с нотками фруктов, ванили, дуба, пряных специй и трав. Пьётся очень легко, бутылка может уйти на раз. Deanston Virgin Oak Ровный с нотками фруктов, ванили, дуба, красных яблок покрытых воском и пряных специй. Здесь тоже паритет. Шотландец покрепче, что может сказаться для новичков. Словак сделан чтобы его пили бутылками, и с этой задачей справляется хорошо. Послевкусие Nestville Single Malt Продолжительное с нотками пряных специй, трав, дуба, ванили, фруктов с горчинкой дуба и лёгким заметным подсушиванием.
Deanston Virgin Oak Продолжительный с нотками пряных специй, красных яблок покрытых, ванили, перчика с заметным подсушиванием. Что ж, оба виски имеют хороший баланс. Они простые, понятный, питьевые. По сути оба одного уровня - отличия лишь во вкусовщине, какие нотки больше нравятся, как и крепость 43 против 46.
