Прямо когда из бутылки в бокал, проявляется в нем некоторая странная затхлость небольшая. Лучше декантировать минут двадцать-тридцать, тогда из аромата уходят посторонние примеси. Вкус с кислинкой, очень ягодный - вишня, черная смородина, малина, черника. Кофе, изюм промелькивают. Послевкусие не особо выразительное, тема - лесные ягоды.
Теперь здесь производят вина, превосходящие по качеству присвоенную замку в 1855 году классификацию 4-го Гран Крю Классе. Виноградники известны не только своими площадями, но и восхитительным расположением. Здесь работает команда опытных специалистов, на виноградниках стараются ограничить использования удобрений. В процессе создания вина уделяется большое внимание каждому шагу, урожай собирается вручную, виноград с каждого виноградника винифицируется отдельно.
