Eventually, Mark discovers that he and his father are the rightful heirs of the Viltrum Empire, as his grandfather, Lord Argall was the former ruler before being assassinated. Over the course of their journey, Mark acquires the nickname "Vince" from Zephyr, befriending her alongside Duncan and Eddie, and forms a romantic relationship with Petra. After failing to destroy the Reaver, who successfully conquers Earth in the future and consumes the Viltrumite Empire, killing Mark, Petra sacrifices her existence to destroy the Reaver and prevent his invasion from taking place, saving Mark in the past, who alongside Duncan retains a memory of her name and significance every time they awake.

Though a struggle, Mark manages to find the stone with the others and manages to place it with the Space Stone respectfully.
Eve and The Boys wait on Dakota and Cavendish who is on the mission. They all see that the two time agents accidentally got stowaways in Anti Cosmo, Bender, Harry, Marcy and Slade who hid int heir car. Cavendish, Dakota, The Boys Mark and Eve inform the 5 of their situation and they will help them get back after dealing with Dark Arrow. He meets Thawne of Flashpoint and they work with him to deal with the New Reischmen. As they defeat Dark Arrow and his crew as well as Stormfront, they watch Thawne get killed and riped apart by the Original Thawne who was helping Dark Arrow before abandoning them. Cavendish and Dakota return and inform them of what just went down on their end with The 5 and their own gang. The Bad Guys and The Boys[ ] Mark joins up with Deathstroke and his struggles with trying to maintain the communications with Virutmites and humans. He is joined by Eve Respectfully, Mark admits he not is not like his father and he feels Ford may be bringing him in some pressure after Nolan gave his life to kill Thragg. They learn Robot is working with Kang as par tof his plans and they realize has gone off the deep end. So they must bring him back in.
While there may have been some changes from the comics and the animated series, it seems inevitable that Mark and Eve will eventually get together on the show. In the first season, it appears that Mark was interested in Eve, but did not pursue her when he found out that she had a boyfriend. So far in the series, nothing romantic happened between them, but this could change soon considering what happens in the comics and some signs from the first season.
